Welcome
Greetings! Welcome to my website for the Compton Community College District, Trustee Area 2, representing the unincorporated communities of Willowbrook, Enterprise/Rosewood, West Compton/West Rancho Dominguez and portions of the City of Compton. In March 2026, I was appointed as a Trustee, returning to continue the work at the Compton College.
As a Trustee, my goal is to continue to bring vision and create successful partnerships to facilitate the success of students transitioning from high school or those returning to college to sharpen their skills for career advancement. I will continue to support efforts and strategies that increase our student enrollment and completion rates. I am committed to the success of all Compton College students.
Compton College is an important institution in our community and a source of pride, and I will continue to dedicate myself towards its stability and growth. With your support and vote, I will continue to work towards improving college operations and campus facilities to meet the long-term needs of all students and our community. As a Trustee, my focus is on developing effective policies and overseeing the implementation of these policies.
For more than 30 years, I have advocated, served, and worked in the community, making positive improvements throughout South Los Angeles communities and statewide. I am extremely committed to working hard to get elected as a Compton College Trustee because the community college is an important resource and asset, and our students deserve a high-quality institution.
In my return to the Compton Community College Board of Trustees, I am renewed in my commitment to strengthening the connection between the college and the community. As a resident of Willowbrook, I am excited to ensure that Compton College serves as a powerful pathway to education, workforce opportunity, and economic mobility for local residents and the region.
